So I'm sure all of us by now have figured out that the City of LA just flat out ran out of money and due to budget cuts have supsended the program. BUT, I have heard through the grapevine (actually, through a contact at HACLA) that the City is proposing to have funds available for their LAHD down payment assistance programs as early as January 2009. What do the liklihood of this happening is? How has the abscence of this program now affected your purchasing plans?
